The Internet Break feature allows parents to set limits on when their child can use the internet. Parents can schedule recurring internet breaks at particular times. During a break, your child will not be able to use the internet. On Android, non-essential apps will also be blocked.
Internet Breaks will not disable essential features, such as the ability to make phone calls or send text messages.
To set up one or more Internet Break(s), open the Canopy for Parent app or log into Canopy dashboard on your computer.
- Select the child device you want to set a break for and open Device Settings.
- Open the Internet Break tab
- Edit one of the pre-existing Breaks that are already there, or create a new one. You can name your break and set whatever start and end time you want.
