Push notifications (such as requests from the protected device to allow blocked sites and apps, app removal requests, and Location Alerts) can be activated in the main Canopy app, on the front page. We highly recommend turning on push notifications. 

  To allow Canopy to send notifications on iPhone: 

1. Open the Settings app
2. Scroll down and select Notifications
3. Scroll down and select Canopy
4. Toggle the button to allow notifications to be sent

  To allow Canopy to send notifications on Android:

1. Open the Settings app
2. Select Notifications

    

3. Select Included Apps

    

4. Scroll down, find Canopy and toggle button to allow notifications
